At Sherman’s Flatbush Memorial Chapel we have served the Jewish community of Greater New York for over 100 years. With two chapels, our Jewish funeral home is able to accommodate a variety of needs that a family may have. Founded in 1898, Sherman’s Flatbush Memorial chapel remains one of the few family-owned and independently operated Jewish funeral homes in Brooklyn and the entire New York City area. Our funeral director, Joe Sherman, is a fourth generation funeral director and leads our team of dedicated funeral directors and funeral home staff.
